As careful as Santa tries to be, sometimes children spot him as he's scurrying back up the chimney. Does anyone have any stories about sneaking a peek of the man in red?
Santa's looped back around and is heading back to China.
In Hong Kong, Santa Claus is known as "Sing Daan Lou Yan" (Christmas Old Man) in Cantonese or "Sheng Dan Lo Ren" in Mandarin.
I love seeing all the poinsettias decorating public squares as I fly across China!
We're just flying over the Great Wall of China now!
Oh, my-- the reindeer absolutely love carrots! And I know they'd love if you leave some out for them. Thanks, Sam!
One reason Santa loves his trips to China is because they sure know how to celebrate Christmas. In Hong Kong, a traditional party takes place every year called Winterfest and features a giant tree in Statue Square, a sparkling castle at Disneyland Hong Kong and ice skating at Ocean Park!
Sunny Elf here! We are running into some smoky conditions across parts of China. Seeing that here in Xi'an. Confirmed by official observation: www.wunderground.com (link)
Do reindeer fly? Of course I eat chips, Eunice!
Don't worry Maggie, Isabella, Jess and Mickie-- I'd never let Santa leave home without the proper attire :) Merry Christmas to you all, too!
We're right on schedule! Santa's almost arrived in Hong Kong.
Santa loves any and all cookies and he's always grateful when someone takes the time to leave him a treat. Thanks, Steven!
We're on our way to the Philippines now!
In the Philippines, people traditionally put out star-shaped lanterns called "parols". These lanterns are made out of bamboo and paper and are meant to represent the Star of Bethlehem which led the Three Wise Men to Jesus.
Hi there! Sunny here reporting over Manila. A little cloudy but I like this temperature of 70F.
Elves need pointy ears to hear all the holiday wishes of children around the world!
The reindeer take turns eating carrots at each house but if you leave out more than one, I promise they won't go to waste!
G'day, mates! We're en route to Australia now.
Not to worry, Arshia-- I have my ways of finding out exactly what you want for Christmas :)
The elves are very fashion-forward and love the jingle-jangle of their shoes. Maybe Santa will drop off a pair for you next Christmas ;)
Carols by Candlelight is a widely popular tradition that started in Melbourne in the early 20th century with people gathering in public parks to sing carols by candlelight.
Santa has an almost endless bag that makes room for all the presents we spend all year making.
Not to worry, Chan-- I make sure Santa has a balanced diet!
Chase, a good friend of mine, just asked me me what kind of cookies he should leave out. I'm a fan of chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and peanut butter-- but I appreciate anything you leave out! Merry Christmas, Chase!
It is really nice right now in Singapore! Thunderstorms in the forecast though! We made it just in time!
In order for Santa to have enough energy to deliver all these presents, he needs to eat a lot so he can never have enough snacks! And I'm sure he'd love fruit roll ups
